Is Pegify free right now?
Yes. Pegify is in beta and everything is free — all features, all Pegis, no limits. You only pay your AI providers directly for model usage.
Will there always be a free plan?
Yes. When we launch paid plans, a generous free tier stays. You'll always be able to use Pegify with up to 3 Pegis, 1 workspace, and self-hosted relay or P2P — at no cost.
What will I pay for after beta?
Convenience and scale. Hosted relay (so you don't have to run your own), more Pegis, more workspaces, advanced workflows, team features, and priority support. The core app and GitHub App stay free on every plan.
Do you charge for model usage?
No. You bring your own API keys. Whatever you spend on Claude, Gemini, Ollama, etc. is billed by them directly — we never proxy, never mark up.
Is Pegify open source?
No. Pegify is a proprietary desktop application. But it runs entirely on your machine — local-first, your data stays yours.
Can I self-host the relay?
Yes. Cross-machine sync works via our hosted relay, your own self-hosted relay, or peer-to-peer. Hosted relay is a paid convenience on future plans — self-hosted and P2P are always free.
